Anatolia kilim needlepoint pillow kit in greens and pale rust

Our ANATOLIA kilim needlepoint pattern is our contemporary interpretation of timeless traditional border motifs from central Persia. Combining the strong horizontal bands with the overall crisp diagonal center motif, creates a striking geometric for needlepoint stitching. Although this design appears intricate, ANATOLIA is actually one of the easiest patterns to stitch in our cross-point™ Collection.

To make stitching both fast, fun, and easy, every kit includes not only our explicit instructions specific to ANATOLIA, but our Special Stitching Aid - separate charts of the key diagonal outline of the stepped medalions. Once those are stitched, the remaining colors are quickly filled in. What first appears to be a complex geometric design becomes a fun and enjoyable project.

ANATOLIA is well suited for upholstery, where its overall bold central medallions are easily adapted to your favorite chair, stool, or bench for a striking visual statement in your home. Be sure to see the upholstered chair shown at the bottom of this page.

Each kit contains large charts in colors and symbols, fabric, luxurious French tapestry wool, needles, and detailed instructions specific to the individual pattern, including additional charts for outlines and other details where helpful. "E" patterns are especially easy for beginners; "X" patterns are recommendet for experienced stitchers because separate design elements require more careful counting across background areas. Unclassified patterns can be stitched by anyone with a little practice. Also included are our cross-point™ Technique sheets. Kits do not include backing or trim.
