CHEVRON - GEOMETRIC NEEDLEPOINT KIT
An original interpretation of an ancient motif
CHEVRON is an easy geometric needlepoint kit offered in two lumbar-pillow sizes and eight stock colorways, with custom colors and custom upholstery also available. For this original pattern, I drew upon heraldic chevron motifs found on a 16th-century velvet fragment. Its repeating horizontal bands create rhythm, direction and movement across the field and, depending on the colors chosen, can appear bold and geometric or subtle and refined.

Please follow the precise instructions included with the kit and begin at the precise starting point shown. This is essential: beginning elsewhere can prevent the repeating pattern from aligning correctly. When started as directed, Chevron aligns perfectly and becomes an exceptionally quick and satisfying pattern to stitch.
Each kit contains large charts in colors and symbols, fabric, luxurious French tapestry wool, needles, and detailed instructions specific to the individual pattern, including additional charts for outlines and other details where helpful. "E" patterns are especially easy for beginners; "X" patterns are recommendet for experienced stitchers because separate design elements require more careful counting across background areas. Unclassified patterns can be stitched by anyone with a little practice. Also included are our cross-point™ Technique sheets. Kits do not include backing or trim.
